According to Restaurant Ware, the term "speakeasy" came from the need for patrons to "speakeasy" or quietly to avoid drawing attention to these hidden establishments, which often required a secret code to enter. Today, there are many establishments that recreate this idea of hidden, dim-lit, and unidentifiable bars as a modern-day speakeasy. One such pop-up speakeasy will be making its way to the Evansville area with a pretty unique and chilling theme.
