Vote to Crown Indiana Drive-In the Best in America

A southern Indiana gem, the Holiday Drive-In, is in the running for USA Today's Reader's Choice Best Drive-In, but they need your vote to take home the title.

It's no secret that Holiday Drive-In is one of the hot spots in the Tri-State during the summer months. This drive-in theater, located in Reo, Indiana, has been a staple of the Evansville area since it opened its first screen in 1955. That makes 2025 its 70th anniversary! The Holiday Drive-In is now one of the oldest American drive-in theaters still in operation. Plus, it's the largest drive-in (with the most screens) in the state of Indiana. While drive-ins have declined throughout the years, that hasn't affected the Holiday Drive-In much. Still, 70 years later, moviegoers eagerly await the drive-in theater's opening weekend throughout the cold winter months to go outside and enjoy movies under the stars. Honestly, it is my favorite place to visit during the summer in our area.

When it comes to traditional movie theaters in Indiana, there are currently fewer than 350 still in operation.  When it comes to drive-in movie theaters, there are only 20 locations that are still operational in Indiana. Once again this year,  one of those Indiana drive-in movie theaters is up for USA Today's Reader's Choice Best Drive-In in the country, and they need your votes to win!

An expert panel has nominated their top 20 spots to enjoy a drive-in movie throughout the country, and the Holiday Drive-In, located in Reo, Indiana, is among the top 20. It is such a huge honor to be among the best drive-in movie theaters in America, and I am thrilled for my friends at the Holiday Drive-In.

The Holiday Drive-In is the only Indiana drive-in theater to be up for USA Today's Best.
