Kids In Need Can Get Free Skate Supplies April 12th in Evansville
As part of their Global Month of Good, several Starbucks locations around Evansville will be collecting and donating skate supplies to kids in need.
Evansville is Home to the Largest Concrete Skate Park in Indiana
Skateboarding, skating, and rollerblading are incredibly popular activities in our community, and they are growing with the completion of the new skate park in Evansville. Sunset Skate Park is the largest concrete skatepark in Indiana, and personally, since its opening, I have never seen it not busy.
Donate Skate Gear and Supplies Through April 11th
Now through April 11th, several Starbucks locations are collecting donations of skate supplies. You can drop off a donation at:

Free Skate Gear Will Be Passed Out to Kids in Need April 12th
All of the donations will be handed out to kids in need, while supplies last, at Sunset Skate Park on Friday, April 12th beginning at 5 pm. In addition to giving out the donated skate gear, there will be drinks, snacks, and music.
You're Invited to Come Out to The Event
Our friends at Young & Established will be there too, and you're invited to join as well. Sunset Skate Park is located at Sunset Park West, along Riverside Drive in Evansville, between Mickey's Kingdom playground and the Evansville Water and Sewer Utilities Sunset Pump Station.

Sunset Skate Park is considered an "all wheel" skate park, meaning that skateboarding, skating, rollerblading, bmx bicycling, and non-motorized scooters are welcome.
