Evansville is Home to the Largest Concrete Skate Park in Indiana

Skateboarding, skating, and rollerblading are incredibly popular activities in our community, and they are growing with the completion of the new skate park in Evansville. Sunset Skate Park is the largest concrete skatepark in Indiana, and personally, since its opening, I have never seen it not busy.

You're Invited to Come Out to The Event

Our friends at Young & Established will be there too, and you're invited to join as well. Sunset Skate Park is located at Sunset Park West, along Riverside Drive in Evansville, between Mickey's Kingdom playground and the Evansville Water and Sewer Utilities Sunset Pump Station.

More About Sunset Skate Park

Sunset Skate Park is considered an "all wheel" skate park, meaning that skateboarding, skating, rollerblading, bmx bicycling, and non-motorized scooters are welcome. The project was years in the making but it is now making a big impact on the community. Learn more about Sunset Skate Park on their Facebook page.

Skateboarding is Illegal in these Downtown Evansville Locations

If you love to skateboard, you need to know that there are some locations where it is actually illegal to boardslide or bonk. Every violation could cost $25, and if the offender is under 18, parents get to pay the ticket.
