Open to Everyone
Registration for the event operates on a first-come-first-serve basis, making it imperative for interested parties to secure their spot promptly. Whether you're an ROTC cadet, a Soldier, a Veteran, or a civilian, you can register individually or team up with three others to take on the challenge together. The registration process is straightforward and can be completed online by filling out the pre-registration form and submitting your payment on the following screens.
Helping Area Food Banks
One unique aspect of the Norwegian Foot March at USI, located in Evansville, is its commitment to giving back to the community. The weight participants carry in their rucksacks is based on non-perishable food items. Participants are encouraged to pack 24 pounds of non-perishable food items, which will be collected by the Student Veteran's Association during the check-out process. These donations will then be distributed to local food banks, making the event not only a physical challenge but also a charitable endeavor.
Don't miss the opportunity to be a part of this incredible event in Indiana. Register before October 1 to take advantage of the early-bird registration fees, which are $25 for ROTC cadets and $45 for all other participants. Join us at the University of Southern Indiana for the 2023 Norwegian Foot March and create lasting memories while supporting a great cause in the Hoosier State.
Scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 2023, this year's Norwegian Foot March is set to be a memorable experience for both participants and spectators alike. However, in order to ensure the safety and quality of the event, participation will be limited to 500 individuals. Registration for the event is available online here.
