JetBlue Is Bringing Direct Florida Flights to Indianapolis
Travelers flying out of Indianapolis International Airport will soon have a brand-new airline option with nonstop access to South Florida and connections to several tropical destinations.
Airport officials announced that JetBlue will officially join the Indianapolis airport lineup beginning this fall, with a once-daily non-stop flight to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The new route gives Hoosier travelers another direct option to Florida while also opening the door to easier connections throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

Indy Travelers Will Gain Easier Access to Tropical Destinations
According to the airport, the new JetBlue route will connect Indianapolis travelers to 10 Caribbean markets, including destinations in:
- Aruba
- The Bahamas
- Colombia
- Dominican Republic
- Jaimaca
- Mexico
- Puerto Rico
The addition could become especially popular during Indiana's colder months as Hoosiers look for warm-weather escapes, cruises, beach vacations, and winter getaways without the need for multiple layovers before reaching South Florida.
Fort Lauderdale is also one of the country's busiest cruise departure hubs, making the new nonstop potentially attractive for those heading out on Caribbean cruises.
