Bluey’s Big Play Arrives in Evansville

Get ready for giggles, games, and plenty of fun for everyone when Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show comes to the Old National Events Plaza on August 4. This live theatre experience brings Bluey, Bingo, Bandit Heeler, and Chilli Heeler to life on stage in a way fans have never seen before.

Featuring beautifully crafted puppets operated by world-class puppeteers, the show transforms the colorful animated world of the series into a lively theatrical adventure. The 50-minute performance is designed especially for families and young fans, with no intermission, making it perfect for kids experiencing live theatre for the first time.

A Story Kids Already Love

The show captures the playful spirit that has made Bluey a global sensation. When Dad just wants a quiet Sunday afternoon on the bean bag, Bluey and Bingo have other ideas. The sisters use every bit of imagination, creativity, and game-playing genius they can think of to get him up and join the fun.

The stage show features an original story by series creator Joe Brumm, along with music written specifically for the production by composer Joff Bush. The result is a lively, laugh-out-loud celebration of family playtime that feels just like stepping inside the show.

Why Kids (and Parents) Love Bluey

Since its debut, Bluey has become one of the most beloved children’s series in the world, earning an Emmy Award and a huge fan base of kids and parents alike. The show’s warmth, humor, and relatable family moments have turned Bluey and her family into household favorites. It's one of my favorite shows to watch with my nephews!

That same magic shines on stage, where kids get to see their favorite characters move, play, and interact right in front of them. It’s part theatre, part imagination playground, and all fun.
