Last Year It Raised More Than $10,000. This Year We’re Going Even Bigger!

Believe it or not, Christmas Wish is already getting ready for Christmas!

As Christmas Wish looks ahead to its 50th Anniversary season, the work is already underway. So is the fundraising that helps make it all happen.

Last Christmas, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Christmas Wish helped nearly 8,000 local children experience the joy and magic of the holiday season. That's thousands of smiles, thousands of surprises under the tree, and thousands of families who knew they weren't alone. None of it happens without the support of people who show up, volunteer, donate, and believe in what Christmas Wish is all about.

That's why we're so excited about one of the biggest summer fundraisers of the year!

The Fraternal Order of Eagles 4168 is once again hosting its Christmas in July Fundraiser on Saturday, July 25th, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at 1710 Starlite Drive. If last year's event was any indication, you won't want to miss it.

Last year, this incredible fundraiser brought in more than $10,000 for Christmas Wish. This year, organizers are dreaming even bigger.

The afternoon will be packed with raffle prizes, a 50/50 drawing, a bourbon bottle raffle, silent auction items, delicious chicken dinners, and plenty of chances to win some amazing prizes, including a Shark robot vacuum and mop, Kate Spade bundle, Stanley cooler, Bogg Bag, beach wagon, Ninja appliances, and more.

And if you came for the food, don't wait too long!

The Eagles' famous chicken sale was a complete sellout last year, so they're encouraging everyone to arrive early before they're gone. Whole chickens are just $12, and chicken dinner plates featuring chicken and two sides are also $12. Chicken will be served beginning at 4:00 p.m., and based on what happened last year, they won't last long.

Of course, the best prize of all is knowing every ticket purchased, every meal enjoyed, and every dollar raised will help make Christmas morning brighter for local children this December.

We are incredibly thankful to everyone at the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the many volunteers and sponsors who have spent countless hours planning this event. Their generosity and hard work help ensure Christmas Wish can continue serving local families year after year.
