Nurses are often the people we remember most during life’s hardest moments. They bring comfort, compassion, strength, and care when it matters most, and thanks to the incredible response from our listeners, WBKR’s National Nurses Month spotlight is shining a spotlight on the amazing nurses nominated by our community!
Celebrating Our First Group of Nurse Nominees
WBKR and The Mobile RN invited listeners to nominate nurses who have made a difference in their lives, and the response was overwhelming. Heartfelt stories poured in from patients, families, friends, and coworkers, all wanting to recognize the nurses they appreciate most.
Each nomination tells a story of kindness, dedication, and compassion from nurses who go above and beyond every single day.
EVERY nurse nominated will be included in our weekly galleries as we continue to honor them throughout the month.
More Nurse Galleries Coming Throughout May
The celebration will continue throughout the month with additional nurse galleries being shared on May 22nd and May 29th. Each gallery will feature another group of nominated nurses as we continue recognizing the healthcare heroes who make such a difference across the community.
While one nurse from each weekly group will be randomly selected to receive a special self-care package, this promotion is truly about celebrating every nurse who was nominated and the impact they have on the lives around them.
After this week’s gallery recognizing our first nominees, we will reveal the first randomly selected winner.
Now, it is time to begin honoring those nominees!
