If you’re unable to cover the costs of spaying or neutering, the Owensboro Humane Society has partnered with local veterinarians to provide financial assistance. This program allows local pets to receive these important procedures at a reduced cost. They’re also offering other necessary services at a lower price.

OWENSBORO HUMANE SOCIETY LOW-COST SPAY AND NEUTER CLINIC

The next low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic will be held on Wednesday, December 11th, and Thursday, December 12th, 2024. Don’t miss out—space is limited! Register your dog or cat today by visiting the Owensboro Humane Society during regular business hours.

PREREGISTRATION AND PREPAYMENT ARE REQUIRED. Please note that they can only accept cash payments in the exact amount due (don’t forget to account for change and sales tax).

To register, stop by in person Monday through Friday between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. Be sure to secure your spot early, as spaces are filling up quickly! Boarding the night before or after surgery is available for $10.00 per night.

Rabies vaccine will be REQUIRED. If your animal has been vaccinated, you MUST bring proof of your animal’s rabies vaccine at the time you sign up your animal.

Male Dogs UNDER 45lbs = $97.00 for neuter

Female Dogs UNDER 45lbs = $107.00 for spay

Male Dogs OVER 45lbs = $122.00 for neuter

Female Dogs OVER 45lbs = $132 for spay

Rabies (1 year) = $17.00 (only available to animals having surgery)

Rabies (3 years) = $22.00 (only available to animals having surgery)

“All-in-one” Booster shot Zoetis = $17.00 (only available to animals having surgery)

“Heartworm test” = $25.00 (only available to animals having surgery)

Flea Preventative – 3-month supply (oral) = $20.00 for all sizes
