The Countdown to Christmas Starts with Wings This Saturday!
As Christmas Wish looks ahead to our 50th Anniversary season, the work has already begun. And so has the fundraising that makes it all possible!
Our first fundraiser of the season is happening this Saturday, July 18, at Brasher's Lil' Nashville in downtown Owensboro, and it's the perfect way to enjoy great food, live music, and support a wonderful cause.
The Wings for Wish Warm-Up gives the amazing volunteer cooks a chance to fire up the smokers, fine-tune their award-worthy recipes, and get ready for the annual Wings for Wish fundraiser this November. Wings will be served from Noon to 5:00 p.m. (while supplies last), with live music throughout the day!
Last Christmas, because of the incredible generosity of our community, Christmas Wish helped nearly 8,000 local children celebrate the magic of the season. Every fundraiser, every volunteer, and every supporter plays a part in making that happen.
We are so grateful to Tamarra, Andy, the Brasher's Lil' Nashville team, the dedicated volunteer cooks, the talented musicians, and everyone who has worked behind the scenes to make this event possible.
