Our Pet of the Week, CHAMP NORMAN, Loves Fetch and Fun
The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle!
Meet Our VHS Pet of the Week
Meet CHAMP NORMAN, a 6-year-old Staffordshire Terrier! This handsome boy is living proof that age is just a number when it comes to having fun. CHAMP is a toy aficionado, chasing down anything that rolls, bounces, or squeaks. He loves nothing more than playing fetch and romping around in the yard, living his best life.
If you’re looking for a playmate who’s single-minded in his pursuit of a good time, look no further! This week only, we're offering 50% off dog adoptions for pups 6 months and older. That means you can bring home this lovable goofball for just $100!
@my105.3 This is CHAMP NORMAN, our @vhslifesaver Pet of the Week. This sweet fella is looking for a forever home where he can play fetch all the live long day! #adoptdontshop #adoptadog ♬ Playful - FASSounds
More About the Vanderburgh Humane Society
The VHS was founded in 1957 to provide protection for homeless animals, intervention for animals in abusive environments, and community education to encourage prevention of animal abuse and pet overpopulation. Located in Evansville, Indiana, the VHS serves as a surrender and adoption agency for unwanted pets. The VHS receives no tax-based funding whatsoever. Therefore, it depends on the generosity of the corporate community and the public at large to continue, and hopefully expand, the much-needed services it offers.
