Love to Sing? The Evansville Philharmonic Chorus Is Holding Auditions This August
If singing along in the car, in church, or in choir has always been your thing, this could be a really fun opportunity to take it to the next level.
The Evansville Philharmonic Chorus is getting ready for its 2026–2027 season and is officially holding auditions this August. So if you’ve ever wanted to be part of one of Evansville’s most well-known performing arts groups, this might be your sign.
Auditions Are Happening in Early August
Auditions for the Evansville Philharmonic Chorus will take place on Monday, August 4, and Tuesday, August 5, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Benedict Cathedral in Evansville.

What You’d Be Singing In
If selected, chorus members will perform during several Evansville Philharmonic concerts throughout the season. That includes some really fun and festive performances like:
- Halloween Spectacular
- Peppermint Pops
- Windows of Heaven
- Spring Choral Concert
So whether you love the idea of holiday performances, big choral pieces, or just getting back into music, there’s a pretty exciting lineup ahead.
A Great Opportunity for Tri-State Singers
The Evansville Philharmonic is encouraging singers from all around the Tri-State to audition, so you definitely don’t have to be a professional performer to consider trying out.
