Guy Fieri Feeds Indiana Police Officers – Here’s the Lucky Pizzeria He Chose
To the average Food Network viewer, Guy Fieri is just that over-the-top chef who wears flame shirts and has spikey blonde hair. But trust me, there is a whole lot more than 'Eats' the eye when it comes to Guy.
Guy Fieri has been giving back to charity organizations from the very beginning of his career. He fed the California firefighters, First Responders, and victims of the 2017 wildfires, alongside the Salvation Army. His Chefs for Maui Fundraiser successfully raised $1,200,000 to help restaurants impacted by the Lahaina fires. Anywhere there had been a need to help out first responders and police officers, Guy Fieri has gone out of his way to help.
"I want to make a positive impact. When it's all over, I just hope people say, 'Guy was good for mankind. Guy helped.' "
Guy Fieri Foundation
I could write a book about the impact that the Guy Fieri Foundation has had on communities just in the past year. The highlights include:
- 10,000 + meals served in 2023
- 4,700 + VOLUNTEER HOURS
- 735 people Volunteered
- 26,000 + People Impacted by our programs
- $100,000 + Grants and Scholarships given
The Mayor of Flavortown Serves the Real All-Stars
Guy Fieri loves going to NBA games with his sons, Hunter and Ryder. They made the trip to Indianapolis for the NBA All-Star Celebrity 2024 game. But they didn't just hang out with other celebrities and basketball players, the Fieri fam took the time to deliver pizzas to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department. Guy spent some time chatting and taking pics with the officers and first responders. So, the big question is: What pizzeria was chosen by Guy Fieri?
Guy Fieri brought the flavor to IMPD during NBA All-Star Weekend!
With pizzas in hand, he thanked officers for their hard work.
“The reality is we all love you,” Fieri told the officers.
A gesture of gratitude amidst the excitement! Thank you, Guy Fieri.[/pullquotes]
Say Hello to Goodfellas Pizzeria
Alex Coats and Eric Boggs opened their first Goodfellas Pizzeria way back in 2005 in Lexington, Kentucky. Since then, they have added more pizzerias in Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, and Indianapolis. In addition to Goodfellas on Mass. Ave in Indy they have Wiseguy Lounge, which is cool a speakeasy.

Family First
Guy's sister Morgan, passed away from melanoma in 2011. She left behind a son, Jules, that Guy and his wife Lori have raised since her passing. That is in addition to his two sons Hunter and Ryder.
"Family is always the first priority. Most of my friends will [say] I haven't changed. I think it's because when I got into television, I'd already done what I wanted to do. I wanted to be a great dad."
