What is Evansville Raptor Con?
Raptor Con is Evansville's Premier Geek and Pop Culture Comic Convention. It features a variety of Celebrity guests, Vendors, Cosplay contests, Workshops, and panels. This all-inclusive event brings the best of the geek world to Evansville. This is the 4th annual event and it is going to be huge this year.
Second Celebrity Guest Announcement: Brian Krause
If you are like me and are obsessed with the WB series 'Charmed', you know him as Leo Wyatt. Yes, that Leo. The Whitelighter assigned to the Charmed ones. Krause went from guest star to a permanent fixture on the series that ran from 1998-2006. You might also recognize him from Stephen King's Sleepwalkers from 1992. He was scheduled to make an appearance at Evansville Horror Con, but had to cancel because he was still shooting scenes for a movie. So, if you were sad (Like I was) that he didn't make it, we get a re-do in September.
Celebrity Guest: Sarah Natochenny aka Ash Ketchum
Her voice-acting career began when she was just 18 years old. She had just graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in New York City when she took a part that would define her career.
It's so fun to see the faces behind the voices of our favorite cartoon and anime characters. You might be surprised to know that Pokémon's Ash Ketchum was voiced for 17 years by Sarah Natochenny.
