Kentucky, Southern Indiana and Southern Illinois Kroger stores and associates came together in a big way to support the campers at MDA Summer Camp at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan. The company’s “Zero Hunger Zero Waste” initiative, raised $66,000 to help fund new nutritional activities at camp throughout the week.

Access and ability to make healthy national choices while living with limited mobility is crucial for the children and adults living with muscle disease. “The families MDA serves are often faced with the decision between their extensive medical cost and their ability to make healthy nutritional choices,” said Amanda Spiehler, MDA National Director.

Kroger steps up and helps so many local nonprofit organizations, schools and churches and we're so blessed they're in our community helping every day!
