Don't look now, but it's September. When did THAT happen? Oh, yeah, yesterday. But it's here now and the official first day of fall is a scant three weeks away.

I don't know about you, but I get itchy feet when fall is in the air and the weather starts getting a little cooler.

I want to go anywhere that's out in the country or by a lake or near a mountainside. And Gatlinburg checks off all those boxes.

Autumn is that legendary getaway's time to shine and they have lined up the festivals for the occasion.
