Little Girl From Kentucky’s Joyful Reaction To Her Birthday Gift Wins the Internet

Everyone loves receiving gifts right?!  It's even more special to get a gift you have been wanting for a long time.  A big birthday wish came true for one little girl from Kentucky and her reaction is priceless.

MEET CHARLOTTE

Charlotte is the youngest of five and is full of life and personality.  She is our only living daughter (she has a sister in heaven, Kathern)  Since she was old enough to talk and walk she has wanted a "real" baby.  Not just any old baby doll she wanted the real thing.  She never swayed from requesting a baby of her very own.

Not only did she want it to be real life she wanted it to look just like she did when she was a baby.  These babies are called reborn babies.

Reborn dolls are hyper-realistic dummies, treated like real children, given a birthing ceremony and even a heartbeat. Yet they serve a deeper purpose, being used as therapeutic aids to help women through infertility, miscarriage and loss of a child, as well as anxiety and depression.

They aren't cheap and you never know if you order one if you are going to get what you want.

She was adamant about this.  Since she turned 5 she really hasn't had a true birthday party because of COVID.  Her daddy and I decided this year was the perfect time to make her dreams come true.

FINDING THE PERFECT PERSON TO MAKE HER BABY

The hunt for the perfect baby started a very very long time ago.  I noticed my friend, Shawna, started posting photos of babies on her Jewels of Reborn Facebook page that she was making and I inquired about the possibility of her making a replica of my daughter who had passed away.  She did and she is breathtaking.  Well, of course, Charlotte began asking if she could have a baby.  I talked it over with Shawna and she sent me photos of different babies she could do and Charlotte picked out the one she loved the most.

This is her.  Meet Olivia Kathern Welsh.  Charlotte decided she wanted her big sister's name to be a part of her baby.

The best part we surprised her with her baby on the morning of her birthday and her reaction is absolutely priceless.  Her joy is unexplainable! WATCH!
