LOCAL AG ORGANIZATIONS TO HOLD FORUM AT NATIONAL FARM MACHINERY SHOW

 In the Kentucky Exposition Center, South Wing C, Room 202, three Louisville-area agriculture organizations are sponsoring a forum for the candidates for Kentucky agriculture commissioner at the Kentucky Exposition Center during the annual National Farm Machinery Show.

The Agribusiness Industry Network, Louisville Ag Club and the Jefferson County Farm Bureau are producing the event. Of the five Democrats and two Republicans who are seeking their respective party’s nomination in the ag commissioner race, three of the Democrats and both Republicans have indicated they plan to take part in the forum.

The candidates will be invited to share their views on a varietyof issues involving agriculture, food production and the programs of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.  They will be questioned by representatives of the sponsoring organizations.

The forum is being held during the National Farm Machinery Show, one of the nation’s largest farm expositions.
