Match.com Gives Customers a New Friendly Helper
Match.com helps people meet someone through a series of questions it asks the user. It matches up people if their answers to these questions sort of... well.. match up. This website has been around for quite awhile.
Now it has a brand new feature. It allows users to upload a picture of their ex girl or boyfriend that way it can see what the person looks like... and choose another person that sort of looks like your ex. You may even be able to set your personal profile to give you someone that looks the exact opposite of your ex. Which is clearly what this woman did in the picture above. She didn't want tall dark and handsome... she wanted this Ron Pearlman looking guy. Actually Those 2 were from a match.com panel meeting, discussing "dating confessions." That's Perez Hilton and Patti Stanger attending the Match.com Dating Confessions panel hosted by Patti herself back in February in New York City.
This new feature is only for the premium users. So the people that are really paying the big bucks to meet someone special are able to enjoy the feature. Oh and by the way... premium users are paying $5,000 for 6 months of service. I think I'll just try my luck talking to women at Starbucks and Kroger.
The premium package doesn't sound all that bad though. Aside from the FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS you are spending, the premium membership also includes your own professional matchmaker, who coaches you, flies out to meet you, and goes on pre-dates with your potential matches. Talk about an awesome job. Jim, Dave and myself could not believe how much this cost. Dave's reaction was about like it is below. He couldn't find any words and just put the microphone on top of his head.
