Nashville and Indy Among the Finalists for Amazon’s Second Headquarters
Amazon has announced its short list of cities still in the running to host the company's second headquarters. Two of them are relatively close to the WBKR listening area!
Last year, Amazon announced plans for a second headquarters and received bids from 238 cities expressing the desire to host them. While the final decision is expected to be made sometime this year, Amazon has released a list of twenty cities still in the running. The two closest to Owensboro are Nashville and Indianapolis. The other cities still in contention are as follows--->

Amazon says that HQ2 will cost $5 billion dollars and could bring up to 50,000 jobs to the city chosen to house the facility.
