New Releases – Brett’s 3 Least Favorite Cars of the New Season

Here it is.  The all new 2014 Toyota Corolla.  This car has been around since the 80's and has had a few ugly ones and a few good looking ones. The new one here looks like they took a nice looking car and flipped it off a cliff and shouted THAT'S THE DESIGN!  A bit underpowered but understandable because in today's economy it's important to have good gas mileage. One final thing.  It has just over 130 Horse Power. Most small cars with a manual gearbox have 5 gears, this one has 6, too many gears ... not enough power.  Also the wheels look like they are from a Chrysler 200-S. Stamped- Ugly

Up next its the Scion IQ (Eye Que).  Again slow, underpowered and understood again.  It's a city car, so the gas mileage is second to none but why so ugly? Smallest of the bunch here and if you were opted to transport the corn hole boards from A-B, you would be in a world of trouble. It is a family car.  2 door yes but the back seat is there for anyone who has no legs. Stamped- Ugly & Too Small

Now the holy grail.  I cannot believe this madness of an automobile.  When I heard they were bringing the Dart back, I was very excited.  I thought, this is great.  Yet another fine American muscle car to add to the list of Mopar engineering along with the Challenger and Charger.  However I was very wrong.  They dropped the Dodge Neon and began the new trek for the Dart.  I gotta say I wish they had the '67 440 R/T in mind when they made this but instead they went with Italian styling from an Alfa Romeo for the Dart instead.  Stamped - Ugly and an embarrassment to Mopar Heads.
