The Scripps National Spelling Bee is full of words no one on this earth would ever think of. Castle North Middle School sixth-grader Pranav went all the way to the fourth round in his first National Bee.

As you'll recall, Pranav spelled "burgoo" correctly in the first round on Tuesday. He advanced to today's finals and he was met with this word.

Marrucinian

Definition: a Sabellian dialect of ancient central Italy in the area of modern Chieti. It is a noun.

Sixteen spellers remain and will compete in tonight's final round which will air at 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.

We are so proud of Pranav!
