Dwight Howard from the Houston Rockets will make his first trip back to L.A. to face the Lakers since he decided to leave Hollywood for Houston.  he knows he's unlikely to get a big warm welcome back.  Howard said - "I think there will be a lot of boos.  I can't really focus too much on that.  I know I'm going to hear it the whole game.  All the noises, whatever you want to call it 'Coward.' There's not anything I can do about it except to go out and play

Meanwhile the Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks are reportedly vying for the affection of Minnesota Timberwolves center Kevin Love, who will be a free agent next year.  League sources say, Love and his agent have said the center's main priority is to play in a major market and the Southern California native's first choice would be playing for the Lakers.  The major stumbling block is that Minnesota has given no indication it's considering moving the All-Star  center by tomorrows trading deadline.
