OPD Looking For Robbery Suspect

The Owensboro Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect who committed a robbery at Franey's Food Mart on Carter Road Wednesday night.

The initial investigation into the incident show in unidentified white male entered the business with a handgun and he demanded money. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money before officers arrived.

Person of interest:

W/M, Approximately 6"/medium build, dark scarf covering face, light blue ball cap, dark shirt, dark shorts, dark shoes
