Overnight Bypass Ramp Closures Could Cause Headaches
Old concrete and pot holes have become enough of a menace on various ramps connecting US 231 to the 60 bypass that repair work is in order.
And that could cause some traffic headaches.
Maybe you've seen the outlines around some of these fractures in the concrete? I have and wondered if it meant repairs were imminent.
Well, they are.
Beginning on Wednesday night, November 16th, at 8PM, and lasting until 6AM November 17th the four ramps at the 231/60 bypass interchange will be intermittently closed as contractors work repair the damage.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has also announced that there will be no marked detours for these closures as they will be short-term.
But, if you need this interchange during those hours, using 54 and 431 to turn around isn't a bad idea.
