This is an incredible idea.  Brandy Johnson and her children (Kaliyah, Khamari and Ajourneeare) are quite used to helping spread joy and Christmas cheer each holiday season.  They routinely provide Christmas parties and presents to less fortunate families in the area.

This is, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, they had to find a creative way to keep their three-year tradition going.  So, they decided to set up a gift wrapping booth.  That booth is located inside Towne Square Mall here in Owensboro.  It's located, conveniently, directly behind Santa Claus and sandwiched between The Great American Cookie Company and Journeys.

Brandy and the gang are offering gift-wrapping services to anyone who needs help with it.  And they are doing it for donations.  They plan to take all those donations and put them to good use.  The plan, assuming the booth goes as well as they hope, is to provide Christmas for four local families and use any excess money to help provide Christmas meals to the area homeless.

Brandy says she and her children have been homeless before, but are now in a position to help others.  She says, "This is how we appreciate what God has brought us from."

By the way, this will show you how committed Brandy is to the cause.  She currently has two jobs and is doing this on the side.  So, the hours for the gift-wrapping booth are as follows- 3:00 pm until 7:30pm Monday through Friday and during normal Towne Square Mall hours on the weekends.  That said, anyone can schedule a time during the week after 2pm and Brandy will happily meet you at the booth.  To schedule a gift-wrapping appointment, you can call 270-313-0731.
