Owensboro Police Investigating an Overnight Shooting

Authorities in Owensboro are investigating an overnight shooting on Veach Road.  Here's what they've learned so far.

The shooting occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m, Wednesday, October 28th at 2954 Veach Road, Apt. #2.

Authorities say three unknown persons entered the apartment with their faces covered by bandanas and confronted two male residents. Both residents received injuries during a brief physical confrontation.
Miguel Baize, 22, was transported by ambulance to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for three non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The second victim, Scott Beals, 39, received minor injuries and did not request medical attention.

This investigation is ongoing.
