Owensboro Police Make Arrest in Pharmacy Burglary

Last night at 11:00 p.m., the Owensboro Police Department patrol units responded to a burglary in progress call at Lincoln Pharmacy located at 2816 Veach Road.

The front door was damaged but entry was not made into the business.

A short time later, a burglary occurred at a pharmacy in Whitesville. The Daviess County Sheriff's Office and Kentucky State Police stopped a car driven by Paul J. Vowels of Owensboro. Vowels was charged him with the attempted burglary of Lincoln Pharmacy. He was also linked to three previous burglaries at Lincoln Pharmacy back in May, June and Gust. Vowels, 3313 Baybrook Street, in at the Daviess County Detention Center.
The 39 year old is charged with Burglary, 1st Degree (Attempted) – Class C Felony
Burglary, 3rd Degree (3 counts) – Class D Felony.
