Owensboro Police Reinforcing ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ Campaign Heading Into Labor Day

With the Labor Day holiday weekend approaching, the Owensboro Police Department would like to reinforce awareness of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s annual “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” drunk driving campaign.

This is a comprehensive campaign, supported by paid national advertising, and has gone a long way, with the help of local law enforcement nationwide, toward curbing drunken driving.

This weekend, Owensboro police will be conducting traffic safety checkpoints.
