Owensboro Residents Face Hike in Monthly Sanitation Fees

It could happen as early as next month.  In May, the Owensboro City Commission is expected to approve a new budget which includes a 50% rate hike in monthly sanitation fees.

If the rate hike is approved, customers in the City of Owensboro will see their sanitation bill jump from $12 per month to $18 per month.  The last time the sanitation fee was raised was 15 years ago.
