Looking back at Robin Williams and the impact he had on everyone in the world.   Making them laugh was one thing but being present and waiting for that next film or comedy standup routine was another.  He was one of those guys that I figured would never die.  Huge entertainers like Robin Williams don't seem human to me.  Of course they are and at the end of the day I realize that, also I realize that one day they will die but it's just strange to see a man like Robin Williams dying.

The best part of a movie from a personal standpoint would have to be anything Mrs. Doubtfire.  The huge 1993 film of Robin Williams disguising himself as an old woman to portray the duties of a Nanny at his own house which held his ex wife and 3 kids.  There is a lesson at the end of the movie sure, but the laughter and the scenes were second to none fabulous and hilarious.  It was basically a 3 hour situation comedy that I never wanted to end.

From being a mad scientist in Flubber and creating an elastic goo, to impressing his son's fiance in The Birdcage he was truly one of the best.  And not to mention his standup comedy which was pretty dirty at times but even so he somehow kept everyone's hearts.  My favorite joke Robin tells is his attendance at a rally in Scotland where a man is on stage and he begins clapping his hands above his head and then says to the audience- "Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies"  and from the back of the Scottish audience a man stands up and says "THEN STOP CLAPPING YOUR HANDS!"

Here he is talking about how the airport works now.

It's more strange than anything seeing a man of such fun and laughter slip away.  They call it an apparent suicide as he was found in his home on Monday morning.  A strong battle with depression led him to this.  Chevy Chase was asked about his thoughts and he said that they battled the same invisible demon, depression.  But Chevy said that he was confused over why it took him over to the point of ending his life all together.  I know I have the same questions.  Love the movies, love the quotes and love the effort he put in to make us all laugh and have an amazing career in show business

Mr. Williams... God Bless and we'll see you around the corner.
