Something to Celebrate – Oboro Regional Recovery
September is National Recovery Month. This Saturday, September 10, Owensboro Regional Recovery at 4301 Veach Rd. will hold Alumni Day and a Recovery Month Celebration. A full day of activities is planned and everyone is invited. Owensboro Regional Recovery (ORR) is a Kentucky Men's Recovery facility and opened on Feb. 1, 2010.
The day begins at 10am and will include:
- Activities for kids
- Cornhole Tournament
- Free Food and T-shirts
- Live music
- Scooter Raffle
- Recovery Cup Volleyball Tournament
- PAR (people advocating recovery) Rally
At 2pm a very special recognition of ORR Alumni. Everyone is invited to attend part of the day or the entire event. It is free and open to the public.
More than anything else the day is a reminder that Prevention Works, Treatment is Effective and People Recover.
