Lots of kiddos will  =be spending time over the weekend hunting for Easter eggs. When I was a kid, I used to love going on Easter egg hunts.  I remember an absolutely epic hunt that Mrs. Jones, our kindergarten teacher at Thruston Elementary School, hosted at her house one year.  It was awesome.  Well, except for the fact that my younger sister, who wasn't even her student at the time, managed to find the grand prize egg.  Brat!  LOL.

Well, another annual Easter egg hunt is coming up this Saturday.  Only, the participants won't be hunting eggs, they'll be hunting for bones.  Dog bones.  Yes, Easter is going to the dogs. It's the 8th Annual Easter Bone Hunt and it's this Saturday at 11:30am at Ben Hawes Park!

As you can see, the fee to hunt is just $10 per dog.  Plus, you can get Easter pics taken of your pet for just $20.  The combo ticket (the hunt and a pic) is just $25.

All proceeds benefit SPARKY, course.  SPARKY is Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky.  I am the proud dad to two SPARKY pets, Yogi and Simon.

I highly encourage you, if you are looking to add a new pet to your home, to adopt a SPARKY pet.  They are all up-to-date on their shots, are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and looking for a "furever" home.
