Lebron James doing big things against the Charlotte Bobcats Monday night.  James scored a career high 61 points.  Career high for him, yes, but he actually set a new franchise record, beating Glen Rice who achieved 56 points in 1995.  James didn't stop there.  He went on to set a new career-high for points in a quarter (25) and most field goals in a game (22) all while managing to find time to become tied at third for three pointers in a single game (8).  James had tied Glen Rice at 56 points in a single game in 2005 against Toronto while playing for Cleveland.

Richard Sherman is back in the news.  This time not yelling at a reporter but wondering how exactly the NFL is going to enforce the could-be rule of no N-word on the field during play.  Sherman say's the plan is an "atrocious idea."  He went on to state in an online interview that "It's almost racist to me.  It's weird they're targeting one specific word.  Why wouldn't all curse words be banned then?  I hear it almost every series out there on the field."

Meanwhile Anquan Boldin agreed on a new deal with the San Francisco 49ers to keep him around the Bay Area for a reported two more seasons.  Details of the agreement haven't been announced as of yet but Boldin took to Twitter on Monday and wrote: "@49ers fans, I wanted to be the first to tell you I'm returning to San Francisco."  He posted big numbers in his first season with the Niners last year, catching 85 balls for 1,178 yards and seven touchdowns.

Also Russell Wilson says he's ready to play 2 sports at once. Ranger Baseball by day and Seahawk Football by night, so to speak.  "You never say never.  I've always had the dream of playing two sports.  If somehow it was a miracle that it could work out, I'd consider it."
