Spring Concert at Third Baptist Church Sunday

The Kentucky Wesleyan Singers and Chamber Singers will present their 2013 Spring Concert at Third Baptist Church, 527 Allen Street ,  on Sunday at 6 p.m.  Kathy Rutherman at Kentucky Wesleyan tells us that  Associate Professor of Music Dennis A. Jewett will conduct the choir. He is director of vocal studies and music education.  Joy Mefford Malone, staff collaborative pianist and instructor in piano, is the accompanist. The concert will include motets, anthems, chants, spirituals, folk songs and gospel songs. The choir recently took part in three worship services at Brentwood United Methodist Church in Nashville and Signal Mountain United Methodist Church near Chattanooga. The concert is free and open to the public.
