Sunday Cornhole Fundraiser to Help Raise Funds for Unscripted Film School

It's a busy weekend for Owensboro filmmaker P.J. Starks and his production outfit Verite Cinema. And it will culminate Sunday with a big fundraiser.

After a Friday After Five performance by Hereward the Wake--the band performing a song on the soundtrack of Starks' Volumes of Blood--on the Don Moore Overlook stage (and, I might add, at a booth where contributions will be--or were, depending on when you read this--accepted), P.J. and company will gear up for a cornhole tournament this Sunday.

The action begins at 3PM at TGI Friday's with a silent auction that will feature everything from UK basketball gear, Miller Lite and Bud Lite items to special gift packages and more.

Then at 5:30, it's a cornhole tournament. The entry fee is $10 per person with prizes and gift cards to the winners. All proceeds will benefit the Unscripted Film School.
