Two years ago, Netflix's series "The Haunting of Hill House" became a streaming smash.  I'l admit it.  Kevin and I tore through that whole series and I may have jumped on more than one occasion.  Shirley Jackson's novel has made its rounds in the entertainment field.  There's no doubt.  It has been made into a movie twice.  I already mentioned the Netflix series.  By the way, here's a quick refresher!

And, now, it's coming to the stage here in Owensboro!

Theatre Workshop of Owensboro opens "The Haunting of Hill House" on Friday, October 23rd.  Performances also run the Saturday, October 24th (7:30pm), Sunday, October 25th (2pm), Friday, October 30th (7:30pm), on Halloween (7:30pm) and Sunday, November 1st (2pm).

"The Haunting of Hill House" was first staged as a play way back in 1964.  This is the first time that TWO is bringing the "chilling and mystifying story" to the stage.  Only, this performance will not be taking place at the Empress Theatre or Trinity.  T.W.O. has joined forces with the Owensboro Convention Center and will be presenting the play there, in an effort to maintain recommended social distancing guidelines.

Tickets are available now at OwensboroTickets.com or by calling the Owensboro Convention Center's box office at 270-297-9932.  The box office is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm.  Tickets for the show are $20 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for TWO Members.
