Threatening Social Media Post Leads to Monday Shutdown of Tell City-Troy Township Schools

Police are investigating a social media post made Sunday that was considered enough of a threat that the Tell City/Troy Township School Corporation has canceled classes for Monday, October 23rd.

Earlier this evening Tell City/Troy Township Schools made this announcement:

Just prior 7:30PM they made the decision to close schools for Monday:

Eyewitness News is reporting that Tell City police have confirmed that the post came from outside the country.
