With rain all day Sunday and expected to continue into Monday flooding is again a concern for many in the Tri-State. In just a few hours Sunday the Green River showed a rise of over three feet.

Several roads in Daviess County have high water and more will begin to see flooding thru the next 24 hours.

I noticed several cars attempting to go down Sutherland Rd. All were forced to turn back and one car was stranded in the ditch. Luckily the driver and passengers got out.

I thought this was a good time to post a video from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet about driving on a road that may or may not be passable. Remember it is ALWAYS better to turn around than put yourself and others in danger.
