We Need Waffle House Back So We Can Have a WH Food Truck

One thing that nagged me while I was on vacation was the frequent appearances of Waffle Houses. Sometimes one on either side of an interchange. Rub it in, why don't you?!?

Waffle Houses dot the landscape of America, but, in Owensboro, there are no such dots, as we know.

We've been without them for more than five years now, and I know I'm not the only one who misses them.

So, yes, we most definitely ate breakfast at the Waffle House on more than one occasion while in North Carolina and Tennessee.

But now I've learned that Waffle House has a FOOD TRUCK!!

Are you serious??

Talk about RUBBING IT IN!

So, I guess my plea is that since Owensboro is going to continue to grow and attract restaurants, I'd like to see Waffle House make a comeback.

And it's perfectly okay by me if we just have the one. It's better than none.

And a Waffle House FOOD TRUCK? I'm not sure WHAT that's better than!
