The departure of Darin Moore, the division director for administrative services, follows that of Fish and Wildlife Commissioner Jonathan Gassett, whose resignation is effective Friday.

Beshear and Education Commissioner Terry Holliday made a joint appearance today to announce preliminary figures showing Kentucky's 86 percent graduation rate to be one of the highest in the nation.

MILTON, Ky. (AP) — The demolition of a 600-foot section of an 84-year-old Ohio River bridge has been rescheduled for Thursday morning. It was set to go Tuesday. Kentucky officials are asking residents in the Milton area to stay indoors until after the scheduled blast. The Milton-Madison bridge connects Kentucky and Indiana.
