What Not to Do When It’s 90 Degrees

Margaret has some family in this weekend and yesterday was the day of their arrival.  As most of us know the past week up through the weekend, it has been terribly hot.A few beers into it, I figured I'd start a fire up to get rid of some old firewood that Margaret's Grandmother wanted gone.  So I got a copy of my resume, lit it on fire and started throwing the wood on.

Terrible idea this was.  Too hot for a fire and it lasted way too long.  As soon as it went down and out Margaret's Father started acting like it was cold, asking around for a blanket because since the fire went out he felt a bit of a chill.  HA! It was rather funny.  So for the summer months, I suggest not having a fire.
