The world famous basketball team will bring their game to the Ford Center in downtown Evansville to take on their favorite whipping boys, the Washington Generals.

Anyone aware of the Globetrotters knows when it comes to the series record between the two teams, the 'Trotters have won nearly every matchup between the two teams. However, the Generals have gotten the best of the Globetrotters on a couple of occasions, the last time happening nearly 50 years ago.

The rivalry has been on hiatus for the past five years, as the Generals took some time to find players they think can break one of the longest losing streaks in professional sports.

Now they're back, and will be touring the country with the Globetrotters as part of the 2015 “Washington Generals’ Revenge” Tour.

The Globetrotters will field a star-studded team featuring Big Easy Lofton, Ant Atkinson, Hi-Lite Bruton, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard, Firefly Fisher, and Moose Weekes, along with female stars TNT Maddox, T-Time Brawner and Sweet J Ekworomadu*

During each stop on the tour, including the game in Evansville on January 18th, the Globetrotters will honor a military Hometown Hero, including active, wounded or retired members of the military who have made their community proud with their brave service and exemplary character. You can nominate a Hometown Hero through the team's website.

Tickets for the game are on sale now and available through Ticketmaster, the Ford Center box office, or by calling at 800-745-3000.
