Hugh's parents, Hugh O. Potter and "Miss Joanna", were WOMI's original General Manager and Program Director. Hugh, Jr.  has promised me he will share some of his memories of the station and community on podcasts we will set up here at the 1490 WOMI website. So keep an eye out and an ear out!
