More Road Improvements To Cause Delays for Motorists
A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on US 60/The Wendell Ford Expressway at Owensboro starting Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
The lane restrictions on US 60/The Wendell Ford Expressway are to allow deck work on the Bittel Road Overpass at mile point 12.011 and on the US 431/Frederica Street Overpass at mile point 14.398.
Lane restrictions will be up for both eastbound and westbound traffic. Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach these work zones.
Intech Contracting, LLC, is the prime contractor on this $1,188,296 highway improvement project that includes deck work on various bridges in Daviess County. Work at this site should be completed around August 5th.
