Overnight Shooting at Motel 6 in Owensboro
Breaking news from Owensboro. Around 8pm Wednesday evening Kentucky State Police tracked a suspect involved in a joint drug investigation and that suspect was tracked to Motel 6 in Owensboro. After several hours the suspect came out of the room and that is when the shooting began.
According to authorities, the suspect died from sustained injuries and no one else was harmed during the shooting.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
