3301 Livermore Road? – Down Memory Lane

WOMI went on the air in 1938. This photo was taken fifteen years later in front of the studios in what is now Frederica, but then was known as Livermore Road. You may have seen postcards with a similar image to this but not exactly this one. Of course, that building is gone now replaced by a strip mall containing Papa Murphy's and Great Harvest Bread Company among others. The WBKR studios are just to the south.
