A Vision for Change: An Evening with Elizabeth Smart in Owensboro

Elizabeth Smart, abduction survivor, a best-selling author and the founder of the "Elizabeth Smart Foundation", is bringing her inspirational story to Owensboro. Tickets are on sale now!

I had tears in my eyes while reading the story of Elizabeth Smart several years ago. It was such an inspirational book about survival, hope, faith and forgiveness.This amazing personal journey was told in, "My Story" which went on to become a New York Times Best-Selling book. If you haven't read her book, I highly recommend it. Just remember the tissues as you'll be moved to tears. Tears of sadness and tears of joy. It's quite exciting to learn that she'll speak about her courageous journey at a special fundraiser this summer.

After Elizabeth Smart's abduction on June 5th, 2002 and ultimate freedom on March 12th, 2003, she's become an advocate for children and change.
