I'm not sure any of the communities affected by the December 11th tornadoes in Western Kentucky will ever be the same, however, in Bremen, a town of 350 residents that lost 11 in Muhlenberg County, students returned to the elementary school after an extended holiday break on Tuesday to some special guests and some much-needed fun.
Areas in Western Kentucky devastated by the recent tornadoes have needed additional help not only with supplies and clean-up, but they have also needed help with traffic control and security. The Daviess County Public Schools SLEO (Special Law Enforcement Officer) department has been providing assistance in Bowling Green.
This is fantastic news for residents in Elizabethtown. In an effort to encourage pet adoption, the city has passed a new ordinance that will hopefully cut down on backyard breeders and kitten and puppy mills.
The Cliff Dweller is literally bolted to a sandstone cliff. It has two structures, one that houses a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The master bedroom is up a spiral staircase to the second structure that has a massive window to take it all in.
