Aaron Hernandez was cut from the New England Patriots just 2 hours after being convicted of murdering Odin Lloyd.  Now there is more to the story.  Back in 2012 Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado, were shot in their SUV after leaving a Boston nightclub.  Authorities were investigating yesterday whether Aaron Hernandez may have any involvement in that double-murder last year.

Hernandez was denied bail Thursday, despite his attorney's attempts to convince Judge Renee Dupuis that the former football star is not a risk to flee and that the prosecution's case against him is circumstantial.

On the Morning Show Friday, I mentioned how this resembles the O.J. Simpson trial.  Not saying he's getting away with anything.  That's not it.  I was pointing toward the kids and the children that look up to these major football stars and get their dreams crushed when something as huge as murder comes into the picture.

Maybe Aaron Hernandez didn't have the biggest following, he was pretty new into the NFL after getting drafted in 2010.  But even if he didn't have a big following, there was someone out there who had the jersey with "Hernandez" on the back of it.  And it's a bummer that the kids that loved Hernandez for his football playing have to see this.
